COVID-19 Coronavirus – A Message to Our Customers

As COVID-19 continues to have an increased impact, Zuern Building Products & Design Center is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for our team, customers, and community. Due to the emergency measures put in place by Governor Evers to combat the spread of the COVID-19 Pandemic, effective March 25th, 2020, we have been directed to the following:

Our Lumberyards & Stores are Open for Business. We are ready to help, however, until further notice we will be asking you to CALL and/or E-MAIL order in advance of picking up your order. This will keep everyone safe and healthy:

The following services are in place:

Delivery Service: We continue to offer next day delivery service on all stock merchandise.

EZ Pick Up Service: Beginning on Wednesday 3/25, Simply call ahead and we will process your material needs and have it waiting for you to Pick-Up. (see EZ Pick Up Service sheet)

Showrooms: Our showrooms will be closed to walk-in clients, but should you have a need to make selections or work on a project with a team member, we will gladly coordinate a phone call and/or virtual meeting.

In addition to the above, our employees are practicing the following:

  • Stay at home policy if you or someone you have been in contact with, has fever or signs of the Coronavirus.
  • Practice Social Distancing by maintaining 6’ of more from one another.
  • Increasing cleaning frequency of our facilities, workstations, bathrooms, and cafeterias.
  • Hand washing with warm soapy water for 20 seconds or more on a frequent basis.
  • Certain at-risk populations have been encouraged to work from home.
  • Drivers must minimize contact with others on job sites and maintain social distancing
  • Canceled all unnecessary travel and meetings and gatherings

Although this is an unprecedented event, working together we can ensure the health and well-being of our families and our community. Rest assured, when we are permitted to resume business operations, we will reopen our showrooms.

As COVID-19, the coronavirus, begins to have an increased impact, Zuern Building Products & Design Center is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for our team and community. There is much concern and uncertainty surrounding this emerging crisis, but as many others, our team is closely following guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and other local and national health organizations.

Our stores currently are Open for Business, however in an attempt to keep everyone safe and healthy, we are asking that customers please consider placing orders remotely by the following options:


If you do come into the yard &/or showroom, we have taken the following steps.
 

  • Making more hand sanitizer stations readily available throughout our locations for both employees and customers.
  • Increasing cleaning frequency of our facilities, with cleaning supplies readily available across all work spaces and common areas.
  • Requiring employees stay home when sick, or after contact with anyone that tests positive, as well as sending home anyone that shows respiratory symptoms or fever.
  • Encouraging frequent hand washing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Limiting intercompany travel


We have also…

  • Cancelled or postponed sales meetings, events or gatherings.
  • Limiting customer in-person office appointments
  • Cancelled in-person supplier appointments.
  • Delayed/rescheduled occupied in-home service/measuring appointments

Although this is an unprecedented event, working together we can ensure the health and well-being of our community.
